Yes, due to the CKP getting its signal from the flywheel, and also the backlash associated with a faulty DMF transferring through to the front of the engine ie drive belts, I'd say it was causing most, of not all of your concerns. I have got an intermittent starting problem with my car. Sometimes when I turn the key the solenoid will engage on the starter but the engine doesn't turn over. Usually when this happens it doesn't matter how many times I turn the key the car won't start, however sometimes after 10 or so attempts
Hi everyone i serviced my 56 plate tdci 1.8 focus yesterday and now the car wont start :( I know the problem is the fuel filter, I didnt add any extra diesel when i changed the filter and now there is air in the fuel lines, My question is how will i get it out? Any help will be appreiciated thanks Adam
