Bannerlord has improved a great deal on a technical level, there's more to it than its predecessors, and it's as fun as it ever was to feck a javelin at a nobleman's horse and watch his doomed tumble into your gang of frothing axemen. But the longer I play Bannerlord, the more I think of it in terms of what more it could be. Perhaps that's unfair.
So, there's a lot of bad perks and the perk system could in general use an overhaul. Also, there's two perks named Terror, one is in Two Handed tree, the other in Crossbow tree, two named Walk it Off (Athletics and Medicine) and two named Spartan (Athletics and Stewardship). So, here's my evaluation of the perks in the game, which one are the best, which are the worst and which choices between
Bannerlord. Iām still in the early game. I have some companions like a medicine guy, engineer ,scout and fighters. They donāt really seem to do anything but Iām assuming I need to assign some sort of role I think. In Warband your party skills would stack with the highest personās skill + second highest personās skill as well.
Two handed weapons can go through multiple units if I'm not mistaken. This, coupled with the relatively high damage and reach, is what makes them decent. A polearm will have more damage and reach, but can only hit once. If you're not great at manual blocking you might also prefer sword and shield for survivability.
No, not worth playing, likely will only be worth playing once it is finished and fully fledged mods completed. Unless you are interested in being an Alpha tester. I stupidly purchased this game right as it came out in Alpha and it was riddled with bugs, towns were empty, quests were thoughtless errands, and politics sucked. Has anything been
