Game of Thrones, is almost verbatim in Season 1. A few storylines get dropped from Clash of Kings (season 2), and Storm of Swords, which is collectively Seasons 3/4, and because of some of those storylines and details being missed, the rest of the story changes going into Seasons 5/6/7.
